Our rack spacer kit is very simple to install with basic tools. The kit provides a little extra lock for a tighter turning circle or extra angle while drifting. Once installed the vehicle will require the front tracking to be checked and adjusted.
Tools Required:
Flatblade screwdriver
30/32mm spanner depending on Tie rod fitted
Threadlock
Pliers
Hammer
Punch/Hammer-through screwdriver
1. Raise the front of the car in the air and romove the undertray (if you have one).

2. Locate the clip (pictured above) on the inner of the tie rod boot and undo using pliers to squeeze the clip together slightly and a flat screwdriver to release it.

3. Using the pliers again squeeze the smaller clip together and slide the boot up the tie rod to reveal the joint to the steering rack.

4. You will see a bent over tab, using a hammer and punch or a hammer-through screwdriver bend the tab away from the tie rod.

5. Using a spanner undo the tie rod (it has a normal thread so anti clockwise to undo).

6. Apply threadlock to the thread of the tie rod.

7. Slide the spacer on.

8. Thread the tie rod back into the steering rack and tighten using the spanner.

9. The rest is the reverse of removal. If the larger clip was damaged or you can't refit then two zip ties have been supplied with the spacers to secure the boot. You will need to get the front alignment checked to ensure the vehicle drives as it should and take advantage of the extra lock.
