The following is a guide for installing our Vvti bov delete kit, if you are unsure we recommend using a trained professional for the installation.
The kit completely removes the original boost recirculation valve commonly called the blow off valve or bov for short.
In the kit you will have the blanking plate, the bolts to secure it, a new bov gasket and the 3 silicone caps needed to block off the pipework.
Locate this pipe and clip, it's next to the rubber pipe that heads towards the inner of the driver's side wing

2. Using a pair of pliers pinch together and slide the clip away from the end of the hose until it's on the soft hollow part of the hose

3. Locate the recirculation valve on the side of the J pipe

4. Remove the 2 x 12mm nuts holding the valve in place

5. Next locate the boost solenoid just above the valve

6. Slide clips back on the hoses (keep safe for later), remove from the solenoid and unclip the blue electrical plug

7. The solenoid bracket is held on by 2 x 10mm bolts, remove these along with the recirc valve which is now completely free once the large hose is slid towards the rear of the engine bay

8. You are now left with the below, the next step is to remove the remaining studs

9. Start with the first stud, the two nuts that held the recirc valve in place will be needed here.
Put the first nut back on to the stud until it becomes finger tight (don't use a spanner or ratchet at this point) followed by the second nut again until finger tight and you have as per the above pic

10. Holding in place the inner nut with a 12mm spanner use a 12mm ratchet to tighten the two nuts together

11. Now using just the spanner turn the inner nut anticlockwise and you will see the stud itself is now turning. Remove it completely

12. Repeat for the remaing stud

13. Fit the large silicone cap to where the large hose was removed and secure using the original clip

14. Using the two smaller silicone caps the two pipes as shown by the arrows (the exact location of these can change between 1jz versions) block the pipes off again using the original clamps you removed earlier. You may find you will have to feed the blanking cap through the clamp before fitting to the pipes

15. Now it's time to fit the new gasket and blank using the 2 x bolts all supplied in the kit. You will need a 13mm spanner or ratchet for this

You are now finished and will be left with the above result. Now enjoy all of those 1J noises!
