As many will know the standard ceramic internals of the Toyota unit is at 20+ years old pretty much a ticking time bomb to failure.
Our units are a complete rebuild and feature:
Larger high Inconel content shaft,
Billet inducer wheel
Larger high Inconel content exhaust wheel,
360° bearing,
Competition overlapping seal kit
Machine work to accommodate the larger parts and to the wastegate port.
The larger shaft and wheels mean that we have created a more reliable, efficient and powerful hybrid unit and while exact sizings are kept close to our chest to avoid cheaper inferior copies being produced the turbos can see well into the mid 400 horsepower range with ease (flywheel) with the correct supporting mods and mapping all while keeping lag down as much as possible. Higher 400 bhp figures are also possible with further modifictions over the basic setups most will run with the hybrid. We recommend these units for nothing less than a 400bhp goal, below this figure we would suggest one of our steel core rebuilds.
We work with our turbo builders who have decades of experience with race and road cars to produce high-quality units with reliability in mind. None of the parts used are cheap Chinese copies as this wouldn't help us achieve what was set out for reliability. We agree there are cheaper units available than ours but we believe the quality we offer is worth the extra.
Our turbos are supplied on an exchange basis (we require a usable old unit back so we can reuse the housings) but can be supplied ahead of the old unit removal with the use of the surcharge option. Your extra surcharge fee will be refunded as soon as we receive a usable turbo housing ready for the next rebuild. Due to demand if selecting the surcharge option we will require the old unit back within ten working days of the delivery of the new built unit.
All our turbos come with a manufacturer defect 12-month warranty and given the options available we make these to order with an estimated 7-10 day turnaround.

Your old turbo can be sent in to us ahead of the new turbo being sent and a surcharge won't be payable once confirmed it's in usable condition.
In the situation you would like the new unit before removal of your existing turbo a surcharge of £150 will be payable which will be refunded once we receive the old unit back. The additional fee will be invoiced seperately.
Kuruma Factory keeps many items on the shelf, we also recieve stock orders weekly from the Uk, Europe and Japan. Our items are a mixture of stocked parts and special orders.
Items stocked are usually dispatched the same day if ordered before 3.30pm. Regards out of stock and special order items an email will be sent with estimated leadtimes at point of ordering.
